Limited Warranty

PLEASE NOTE: The warranty card that you have received with your Innovative Marine product must be filled out completely and returned to Innovative Marine within 14 days from the date of purchase. Failure to send in your warranty card will void this warranty.

Warranties are non-transferable and are only warrantied to the original purchaser against defective material and workmanship.

1 Year Limited Warranty - On all Innovative Marine Products
5 Year Limited Warranty – On all Innovative Marine Helio Heaters

​

Innovative Marine offers a one (1) year limited warranty on all Innovative Marine Products. Helio Heaters are warranted to the original purchaser against defective material and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of original purchase (except for all non-electrical parts, ie. heater holder, magnets, fuse and holder components-which these parts are warrantied for a period of one (1) year). These products are warranted to the original purchaser against defective material and workmanship from the date of original purchase. This warranty is valid only under the following conditions: additions, modifications, or changes made to the product by the purchaser and not by the manufacturer shall void this warranty. Damages brought on by abuse, misapplication, or mishandling also voids this warranty.


This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product at the discretion of the manufacturer. This warranty does not cover personal injury, property loss, including livestock or damage (direct, incidental, or consequential) arising out of use of this product. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state. Service or Warranty work done does not extend the original warranty period shown above.


Upon discovery of a defect, please email us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number at warranty@innovative-marine.com. Products without an RMA number will be refused. A proof of purchase from Innovative Marine or an authorized dealer must be provided when making a warranty claim. Shipping costs to Innovative Marine and back to the customer will be the responsibility of the customer. The RMA number needs to be on the return shipping box to the following address:

3 Year Extended Limited Warranty
 

The Innovative Marine Extended three (3) Year Limited Warranty is only offered on NUVO Aquariums, NUVO APS stands and NUVO Aquarium w/ APS stand combos that have been purchased through www.Innovative-Marine.com. When purchasing a NUVO Aquarium, NUVO APS stand or NUVO Aquarium w/ APS stand combo, please choose the option “Extended 3 Year” on the product's page prior to checkout. You may increase these product’s standard warranty coverage by purchasing an Extended 3 Year Limited Warranty. This will increase your one (1) Year Limited Warranty to three (3) Years from the original date of purchase. Excludes MTO systems.

2 Year Extended Limited Warranty for MTO (made to order) Systems

​

All MTO (made to order) systems have an option to purchase an additional (2) two year warranty. This (2) year limited warranty will increase your (3) year limited warranty to (5) five years. This applies to all MTO (made to order) systems at checkout: 112 EXT/INT System, 112 EXT/INT Tank and Stand, SR Pro 2 120 System, 150 EXT/INT System, 150 EXT/INT Tank and Stand, 170 EXT/INT Tank and Stand, 200 EXT/INT Tank and Stand, 200 Peninsula EXT/INT System, and 200 Peninsula EXT/INT Tank and Stand, 240 EXT/INT System, and 240 EXT/INT Tank and Stand.

*170 EXT/INT System, and 200 EXT/INT System are not MTO (made to order) but come with a standard (3) three year warranty with an option to purchase an extended warranty for a total of a (5) Year warranty.

Abuse of Return Privileges
​

Our return policy is in place to ensure customers are satisfied with their purchase. We may, at our sole discretion, limit or suspend return privileges for customers who abuse or attempt to violate our return policy through practices including, but not limited to, excessive returns and attempts to return items that are used.

Receipt from Authorized Dealer

A proof of purchase is needed from an authorized dealer to ensure a genuine product.

Image of Serial Number

Most of our products have an attached serial number located on the product.

Image of Defect / Issue

An image or short video is required for us to diagnose the root of the issue.

All International warranty claims must be submitted to your Authorized Innovative Marine Dealer in your country. For technical assistance, please email: info@innovative-marine.com. Please refer to their warranty terms and conditions as they may vary from authorized dealers. If the authorized dealer is unable to assist, refer to "Limited Warranty" policy.
